These obstacles have left many Haitian farmers struggling, and our nation increasingly dependent on imported food.At Pwojè Pam, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding Haiti from the ground up, we believe that change begins with the land. That’s why we’re investing in sustainable farming projects that provide seeds, tools, training, and support to local farmers. These projects not only beautify our streets but also promote public health, reduce pollution, and create local jobs. Together, we’re turning neglected spaces into sources of pride and hope.
Cleaning our streets is more than just picking up trash — it’s an act of respect for our environment, our neighbors, and our future. When we clear away waste and debris, we prevent pollution, protect local ecosystems, and create safer, healthier communities. Street cleaning helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans, reduces the spread of disease, and inspires pride in where we live. At Pwojè Pam, we believe that a clean street is the first step toward a clean, united, and empowered Haiti. Every broom, every bag, every helping hand brings us closer to the country we dream of.
